Terms of use

Last updated: 6 October 2026

These terms apply to the Avartix website and to the messaging assistant and social media posting service that Avartix runs for local businesses. By using them, you agree to these terms.

What Avartix is

Avartix is an automated assistant that answers customers' questions for a business, such as opening hours, and helps people book, change and be reminded about bookings. For businesses that choose it, Avartix also writes social media posts, which are published only after the business owner approves them. It is software, not the business itself.

No professional advice

Nothing the assistant says is medical, legal or financial advice, a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation. Ask a qualified professional. In an emergency, call the emergency services or go to the nearest hospital. Do not rely on the assistant in an emergency.

Bookings

Using the service properly

Please give correct information, do not send harmful or unlawful content, and do not try to misuse or disrupt the service. Please do not send health records, Aadhaar numbers, payment details or photographs in the chat.

Posts and ads

For businesses that choose it, Avartix prepares posts and ads and publishes them only after the business owner approves each one. An ad runs only with money the business has put in its ad wallet, and never above the daily limit the business sets. Ad results depend on many things outside our control, so we do not promise a number of views, messages or customers. Posts and ads must follow the rules of Meta and Google and the law. Avartix may refuse or stop a post or ad that breaks them or makes false or misleading claims.

Messages

You may receive reminders and follow-up messages about bookings you made. You can stop them by replying STOP or by telling the business.

Availability

We try to keep the service running, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or because of problems outside our control, including problems at WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook. We do not promise that it will always be available or error-free.

Our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Avartix is not responsible for losses that come from the business's decisions, from a missed or wrong booking, or from relying on the assistant for medical, legal or financial matters. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian law that cannot be limited.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in Khammam, Telangana, will have jurisdiction.
