Terms of use

Last updated: 1 October 2026

These terms apply to the Avartix website and to the WhatsApp assistant that Avartix runs for clinics. By using them, you agree to these terms.

What Avartix is

Avartix is an automated assistant that helps people book, change and be reminded about clinic appointments, and answers general questions such as opening hours. It is software, not a doctor or a clinic.

No medical advice

Nothing the assistant says is medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation. Always ask a doctor about your health. In an emergency, call the clinic or go to the nearest hospital. Do not rely on the assistant in an emergency.

Bookings

Using the service properly

Please give correct information, do not send harmful or unlawful content, and do not try to misuse or disrupt the service. Please do not send medical records, Aadhaar numbers or photographs in the chat.

Messages

You may receive reminders and follow-up messages about appointments you booked. You can stop them by replying STOP or by telling the clinic.

Availability

We try to keep the service running, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or because of problems outside our control, including problems at WhatsApp. We do not promise that it will always be available or error-free.

Our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, Avartix is not responsible for losses that come from the clinic's decisions, from a missed or wrong booking, or from relying on the assistant for medical matters. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian law that cannot be limited.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in Khammam, Telangana, will have jurisdiction.
